Cost of Living

The American Chamber of Commerce Research Association (ACCRA) Cost of Living provides a measure of relative differences among urban areas in the cost of consumer goods and services appropriate for professional and managerial household in the top income quintile because the index is based on consumption patterns of mid-to-upper income households. Over 300 cities in North America participate in the study.

The information is collected on a quarterly basis; the next release of data is expected in December 2003. For complete results and methodology visit the quarterly ACCRA Cost of Living Index on their website at www.accra.org
